The bible says that as a man thinks so is he. In Romans twelve- two it talks about being transformed by mind renewal. Why are we so afraid of changing the way you think, and it seems we are most afraid of seeing ourselves loved by God.

Re: Expect the best
Could it be that it is not that we are afraid of seeing ourselves loved by God, but that the life we have live up to this point, has not been one that we have had such and unconditional love. It is over the top for someone who has not experienced love to all of a sudden grasp hold of this Love that comes from God. Could it be that it is a revelational journey we are comprehending the Love of God, from Glory to Glory? The Transforming of the mind usually dosn't come quickly. The ability to transform may, but the understanding of that transformation comes by continually being in the presence of the one who loves us so dearly. I wonder of it is not being afraid of the love, but it is a fear of identy. What if I am too unlovely. What if I am not worthy. What about my failure..etc. But surely if we wrapped our heart around who we are in Christ, and not who we were before Christ we could then understand He has loved us even before we were transformed from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son.
